Specular

Specular is part of the reflection series of NEIPA's. All of the beers in the series are based on the same malt profile but vary in hops. We also used a new yeast strain that enhances esters production and it is fermented at a slightly higher temperature. All of which gives more body and more of that exotic fruit aroma and taste. Specular is made with Citra, Nectaron, Mosaic and Cryo Citra. It kicks in at 10%.

Specular reflection is a type of surface reflectance often described as a mirror-like reflection of light from the surface. In specular reflection, the incident light is reflected into a single outgoing direction.

Every vision we perceive is a reflection of light of some surface. Some light we can detect - some we can’t - and it is a language we use to describe everything around us. To talk about light is to understand the way of life and to do that we need proper words.
