Where can I find ÅBEN beers?

You can always find our cans fresh from the tank via the ÅBEN webshop. At ÅBEN’s bars in Aarhus, Kødbyen and Roskilde you can also always find the beers. Finally, we have comprised a guiding list of bottle shops, bars as well as other locations where you can find ÅBEN on draft or cans. Check out the list here.

Is it possible to visit the brewery?

If you are interested in visiting the ÅBEN brewery - whether it is by yourself or a group of people - you can participate in a brewery & tasting tour. You can find alle the future dates for brewery tours & tastings here.


Webshop

Do you ship internationally? 

Unfortunately we are currently not shipping internationally. This is something we are looking in to making possible in the future.

I have received a defect product, what should I do?

If you experience any issues with your order, you are always welcome to contact us via email webshop@aabenbryg.dk. To help us solve the issue please include a short description of what the problem is and how the defect occurred as well as attach relevant photos.

I would like to exchange an item - what should I do?

In accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act, you have a 14 days right of cancellation starting from the day you receive your order (excluding beers and other beverages). You will need to inform us about the items you would like to return and ensure that products are returned within 14 days in the same condition as you received them. This can be done via email to webshop@aabenbryg.dk.

I have received an incorrect item, what should I do?

If you have received an incorrect item, you should reach out to us via email webshop@aabenbryg.dk. To help us solve the issue, please include your order number and a short description of the issue together with relevant photos.

I can’t find the beer(s) I am looking for on the webshop?

As it is important for us to continuously experiment, we produce a range of new beers every month which has led to a beer archive of more than 150 different beers. We brew a lot of seasonal beers and one-offs that are sold in limited numbers and within short time frame. However, the webshop is always updated with what we have fresh from the tank, and beers that might not be available at the moment may be so again in the future.


Beers

How should I store the beers to keep them fresh?

All beers should ideally be kept refrigerated and away from the sunlight.

How long can I keep the beer before it will turn bad?

It varies between beer types. IPA’s and lagers should generally be drunk fresh while stouts and sour beers can be stored for a long time and still be great - and maybe get even better. For the specific beer we recommend you check the best before date on the can. This date indicates the date from when we can guarantee the taste. However, please note that as all our beers are unpasteurised and unfiltered, they should ideally be drunk fresh and kept refrigerated, as it can otherwise impact the taste.

There appears to be some sediment in the bottom of the can. Can I still drink it?

A small amount of sediment may appear at the bottom of a can. Although it may look not unappetizing it has no impact on the beer’s freshness, nor the taste, and you can easily drink it. Usually, the sediment appears during the shipping process if cans are turned upside down. If you avoid emptying the can upside down into your glass the sediment - if there is any - will usually stay inside the can.

Is it possible to book a beer tasting?

It is indeed. If you are interested in a beer tasting at one of our locations, please go the the event section and find your preferred location.

Can I rent a tap system and purchase kegs for larger events? 

Yes you can.

Is it possible to arrange an event at one of your bars?

Returns

If you wish to return your products, it is important to ensure that the products being returned are packaged properly to ensure they are in the same condition as when you received them. As the customer, it is your responsibility to package the items securely to prevent any damage during transit. This includes using proper packaging materials such as bubble wrap or foam padding, and ensuring that the box or packaging is sturdy enough to protect the contents during shipping. Please make sure to include all original packaging, documentation and accessories that came with the product. If you have any questions about proper packaging, please don't hesitate to contact us for assistance. If the products returned are damaged during transit we can not give a refund for the given product.
