ÅBEN Advent Calendar
The happiest season of all is upon us. Christmas is the time of year where you get comfortable at home, light up the candles, put some Wham on the stereo and enjoy all the great food and beverages that goes along.
This year at ÅBEN we have decided to combine the best of both worlds for you to enjoy and try at home. You can be an active participant in this years Advent Calendar where 4 good friends each have created a unique recipe for you. One for every Sunday in Advent - all made with the ÅBEN beers you can find in the ÅBEN Christmas Box.
You don’t have to be an expert in cooking. All the recipes comes with easy to follow instructions and will be printed and put in the Christmas Box.
Here is a short introduction to our friends and the recipes.
1st Sunday in Advent: Niels Møller (Møllers Hjemmebag) is behind a recipe for a Rye Bread made with the West Coast IPA ‘Cloudless which adds some nice bitterness to the bread.
2nd Sunday in Advent: Timm Vladimir (Timm Vladimirs Køkken & Bagedysten) created a recipe for a Steak & Stout Pie made with ‘Nightcap’ - a pastry stout brewed for Natholdets Christmas Calendar.
3rd Sunday in Advent: Amalie og Sophia (Cafe HVERDAG in Aarhus) developed a recipe for a super nice and easy beer cake with the use of the New England IPA ‘Bryg 61’ - perfect for a Christmas weekend with friends or family.
4th Sunday in Advent: Thomas Brink Lorenz (CPH Cooking Class and ÅBEN's house chef) has made a recipe for a tasty brisket with red kale. A recipe that you can easily copy for your Christmas dinner, made with the triple IPA ‘Specular’.
