Invitation to ÅBEN’s Grand Opening

On November 25 you are invited to come and celebrate the Grand Opening of the new ÅBEN Brewery in Kødbyen, Copenhagen.

The program for the Grand Opening has not been announced to the public yet, but since you are one of ÅBEN’s supporters here is a sneak preview of what will go down on the day.

The day is kicked off at 12:00 with free beers so get here early. You can take part in emptying one of the big serving tanks hanging from the ceiling.

At 16:00, Philip Hulgaard, founder of ÅBEN & Søren Pihlmann, founder of Philmann architects will welcome everyone at the reception.

At 16:30 the finished documentary about the making of the ÅBEN Brewery will be screened inside. The documentary has been produced by Jonas Petri and gives you a unique inside into the proces of building the brewery from the early start to the opening.

Throughout the day there will be DJs playing great music and when you get hungry you can enjoy sausages from Surf & Turf Sausages who will be serving hotdogs from 18:00.

Beers will continue to flow all day and night and when darkness falls the celebration will be ramped up with a Silent Disco inside the brewery.
