The end of summer marks the beginning of a new chapter for ÅBEN. The new brewery is finally fully functional and the first beers have been brewed.

Here is a late summer update for you.

Right now you can find 3 brand new ÅBEN Beers in the webshop. Among others, the first ever German Styled Pilsner, Elm, and two new double IPAs - the ÅBEN 5th Anniversary West Coast DIPA and Eat Your Greens, a soft & vibrant New England DIPA both at 8%.

The mixed boxes are also back in stock so if you want to explore all the beers from the new ÅBEN brewery that is the way to go.

If you are curious to see what the new ÅBEN Brewery looks like you don’t have to wait any longer. Starting September 14 you will have the opportunity to join a guided tour and tasting. The guided tour starts at 19:00 and takes 45 minutes.

Ticket Price: DKK 100 (includes a tasting of 3 different ÅBEN beers.) You sign up to the tour in the bar at ÅBEN Kødbyen.

If you can’t participate in the tour on September 14 don’t worry. The guided tours will be held every Wednesday moving forward.

Starting Thursday 8 it will also be possible for you to grab a six pack of freshly brewed ÅBEN Beers in the bottle shop at ÅBEN Kødbyen for just DKK 295.

It is hard to believe that it has already been 2 years since you were able to visit ÅBEN Aarhus for the first time.

We have shared many good experiences since then and now you are invited to come and celebrate the second birthday of the bar in Rosensgade. It is September 3 and we kick things off with a good old-fashioned kagemand and Birthday Bingo at 15:00.
