August was also the month, our collab beer Hop Men’s IPA was released - a crispy West Coast IPA made with ÅBEN’s very own Brewer Rick Musters and his brewery Hop Bottle.

You can soon explore a new beer series from ÅBEN. Under the name Reflections, 5 new beers will be released from the brewery in June. What makes this series unique is the fact that all the beers are based on the same malt profile but with a different hop composition. This provides you with the opportunity to more clearly taste how the hops impacts the taste of the beer.

We have previously announced the brewery’s transition from glass bottles to cans, and we are now a great step closer to fulfilling this goal. 2 weeks ago we released ÅBEN’s first canned beer, Indian Summer. For you who would like to learn more about the thoughts that went into the canning line setup at the brewery, please read on.

A collab that has been long under way due to the recent lockdown, and something we have been looking forward to ever since we returned from our joined trip to New Zealand more than a year ago.

In 2022, ÅBEN will launch a new brewery in Copenhagen’s Meatpacking District - and you can help make it a reality. ÅBEN SHG15, named after its location on Slagtehusgade 15, will become a 1,200 m² combined brewery, tank bar and restaurant - the first of its kind in Denmark. You have the chance to become part of it now and get exclusive access to updates and tours of the construction.

ÅBEN can for the first time introduce a set of 4 barrel-aged beers. Occulation - as they are named - have been aged on old spirit barrels over the past 9 months at the brewery in Kolding. Read more about this special set of beers.

We have made the decision to start phasing out the use of glass bottles to replace with cans in the next months to come. Read more about why we have made this decision.
